I'm finally getting my knitting mojo back. I think it was lost sometime between the morning sickness (read: constant vomiting) that started sometime last summer and the exhaustion of adjusting to a new baby. It was the Resurrected Toddler Sweater that brought it back to me. I just love knitting without a pattern. The sweater is "resurrected" because a few weeks ago I found several inches of the blue yarn knit with the brown fair isle design in my stash. I have absolutely no idea what I was making, and I don't know why I abandoned it. (This is abnormal for me, usually I know what the half finished projects are in my stash, and why they lay hibernating.) Anyway, when I happened across the object, it looked like the beginning of a toddler sweater, so that's what it became. But it also happened to resurrect my passion for knitting. Hmmm. Interesting.

(Sorry the picture is sideways here. I forgot to fix it before it loaded.)

How 'soakin' cute! You MUST take a pic. of her in that sweater. Is that a design of your own? Honestly, I miss you and wish we could sit and knit.
Squeeze that cute baby for me (not hard, just a loving hug kind of squeeze). Oh, and tell her I say, "ga, ga, blah, da, da, WooooOOOoooOOo"
nutty knitter,
Yes, I made up the pattern, but it's clearly inspired by a Jo Sharp hat and EZ's saddle shoulder recipe. You will see the girl in the sweater, in a couple years that is. I'll try to have a friend's toddler model it in the next few weeks.
Oh, and the baby says, "Ta, ta, ta. Mmmm, pppppbbbbbbtttttt. Lalalalala. Pbbbt."
Holy crap your womb must be full of bunnies and sugar to produce something that cute.
If E was any cuter, she'd be against the law! She is so adorably cute and sweet. My friend Stan would call her a kitten ;)
